Sony’s Personal Air-Conditioning Units That Fit Inside Your Shirt Are The New Must Have

Sony is changing the air-con game! The company is now crowdfunding for a personal air-conditioning unit that you can pop inside your shirt and instantly feel the cooling sensation down your back. Genius right?

Named The Reon Pocket, this device simply slides right into the back of a specially-designed shirt.

You can even control the settings via an app linked to your phone, so you can even blast hot hair if you’re a bit chilly.

Being crowdfunded in Japan, the device will cost around £100 ($130) and will only take a two-hour charge to give you 90 minutes of cooling (or warming) air. Sounds great.

They are now half way to their target and apparently the item will be launched next year.

Unfortunately at the moment it seems it may only be available in Japan so it’s unclear if it will be available on a bigger scale.

The plus side is if you can’t get your hands on this, you can always purchase some cooling underwear.. that could be your best bet.

You can get items that will cool your chest area or other parts of your body.

Ladies, if you’re interested in them, ‘bra coolers’ “Cool58° cooling packs freeze solid at a moderate and comfortable temperature of 58° Fahrenheit, so they can be activated in a freezer, refrigerator, or even a cooler of ice water.

“Packs can simply be submerged in ice water or placed in a refrigerator or freezer to activate.

“Activate by simply submerging the packs into ice water for up to 20 minutes when access to freezers is not available.”
