Oh boy. This isn’t good. This is not good at all. This is very bad news. Imagine the night before your wedding day, you find out your fiance has been playing away.
You discover the texts and, in a state of pure horror and anger, decide to get revenge in the best way possible: humiliating him at the ceremony.
That’s what one queen did recently, much to the shock of the sketchy bastard who’d been found guilty of cheating.
“I wish my GF had half the skills you do,” one of the texts read. “I’ve never had this kind of connection before,” read another.
“Every word [felt] like a dagger in my heart and my wedding was only hours away,” the woman told Whimn reporter Danielle Colley. “How could I cancel when everyone had already traveled to be there and everything was paid for?”
Instead of calling the wedding off, she put on her dress, grabbed her bouquet, and walked down the aisle with confidence. But when she reached Alex, she turned to the crowd and revealed there would be no wedding.
“It seems Alex is not who I thought he was,” she said before reading all his cheating texts aloud.
“With each word, more color left Alex’s face,” the woman said. “I let my weeping eyes rise and meet his, and he had not one thing to say. He stalked out of the church with his best man trailing behind him. His family looked on, horrified.”
The reception wasn’t cancelled despite the furore. The bride and her friends instead chose to celebrate “honesty, finding true love, and following your heart even when it hurts.”
What a way to get payback on a scumbag. We’re sure she’ll be thriving in his absence. Hopefully, in the future, she can have a wedding day that isn’t marred by controversy.
