Triple H Pays Heartbreaking Tribute To Shad Gaspard

The wrestling world continues to mourn the tragic passing of WWE legend, Shad Gaspard.

Gaspard died earlier this week, days after his body went missing in the sea off California.

The tag team icon was on the beach with his family just days ago when a riptide began dragging swimmers out to sea.

Aryeh, myself and the Gaspard and Chittick families would like to take this time to thank everyone for their prayers and support, as we mourn the terrible loss of our beloved Shad. . . Shad was our whole world and we were his. There are not enough words to describe what he means to all of us. He was our heart, our soul, our protector, our warrior. He was a bright force of nature, who brought joy to many through his joyous and gracious nature. . . The outpouring of love from Shad’s friends, colleagues and fans has meant more to us than you can even imagine. . . We’d like to once again thank the lifeguards, coast guard, divers, fire and police departments for their efforts. . . Shad was and will always be our real life super hero. . . I love you more, my love ❤️ . . Proudly, Siliana Gaspard

Shad was last seen directed lifeguards in his son’s direction – before he went underwater and was not seen again.

Thankfully, Shad’s son was saved, but days later, a body matching the description of Shad was discovered on Venice Beach. It was later identified to be Gaspard.

In the days following his death, the wrestling world has poured out so much support to the wrestler who was just 39 at the time of his death.

Now Triple H has released a particularly poignant tribute.

Speaking of Gaspard, Triple H said:

Shad was one of those guys that everybody loved. He was just a great human being. Just the greatest guy. So nice.

Rest in peace Shad.

Our thoughts go out to your family and friends at this hard time.
