And another user responded, “There is no way I would have recognized him without those comparing photos.”

Despite all the benefits that his weight loss has brought healthwise- it almost cost him a job.

Back in 2017, Ethan Suplee spoke to Entertainment Weekly revealing he almost missed out on a part due to his weight.

Speaking of his role in the psychological thriller Chance he revealed that he was almost too skinny for the role.

Suplee told Entertainment Weekly, “Initially, the casting directors didn’t want me to come in because I’d lost a bunch of weight. Apparently they had proposed me a bunch of times, but the casting directors were like, ‘No, he’s too thin now.’”

“I’d gained a bunch of weight back because I actually didn’t find being thin all that it’s cracked up to be. So we convinced them that I was heavier again, and I went in, and that was that. I was heavy enough.”

Suplee also explained that he actually found it surprisingly hard to find work after losing weight: “So then [when I started looking for work], I found that people were like, ‘Who are you? We don’t know you. You’re this new person.’”

So here’s your fitness inspiration for 2020 if you’re looking for one.
