It’s been over a month since Kobe Bryant and Gigi tragically passed away in a horrific helicopter crash alongside seven other people.
However now LA County Sheriff’s Deputies have reportedly leaked some gruesome photos of the crash site.
In the past few days a gargantuan memorial ceremony was held for all those who perished in the accident at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
JUST IN: Deputies with LASD shared graphic photos of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and eight others, a law enforcement source familiar with the situation confirmed to CBS Los Angeles https://t.co/SEN48dLxvG pic.twitter.com/O2cJ5bijaX— CBS Los Angeles (@CBSLA) February 28, 2020
The center is also known as The House Kobe Built – in reference to his years playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
While it is unclear who took the photos, first responders were talking about someone taking pictures just two days after the crash.
According to a new report, obtained by TMZ, at least one L.A. County Sheriff’s official had the photos on his cellphone ‘in a setting that had nothing to do with the investigation’.
The Sheriff’s Department has since contacted all of the families of the deceased as a result of what’s gone on.
Though they haven’t said much to the media, they have revealed that it’s ‘being looked into’.
Why would you take photos of a very recent crash site is the biggest question. It’s a sick world.
