Grimes Says Baby X Æ A-12 Loves Radical Art And Apocalypse Now

It was news which provided a welcome relief from the relentless onslaught of COVID-19 this summer, when Grimes and Elon Musk announced they had named their newborn son X Æ A-12.

People couldn’t believe it – but then the official birth certificate was released confirming the actual baby’s name!

Understandably, there were more than a few reactions to the announcement, with a large percentage of Twitter forming one opinion or another on it, while the rest made memes about it.

But one of the main questions about the perplexing name choice was, ‘How do you actually pronounce it?”

Appearing on the Joe Rogan Experience, the tech billionaire explained:

First of all, my partner is the one who, mostly, actually came up with the name. I mean it’s just X, the letter X. And then the Æ is, like, pronounced ‘ash’… yeah… and then A-12 is my contribution.

But now, there’s another story about little old X Æ A-12. Apparently the youngster loves radical art and watching acclaimed war film Apocalypse Now.

Speaking recently, Grimes said:

In general, stuff for babies is really just creatively bad.

I don’t want your first introduction to the world to just be all this aimless crap.

I’m not insulting babies. I’m just – it’s all very one vibe. They definitely like some things.

They don’t like other things. They fully have opinions. I’ve watched Apocalypse Now and stuff with my baby. He’s into radical art. Like, he just actually is, and I don’t think it’s problematic to engage with them on that level.

While most people have been trolling Grimes and Musk online following their revelation – I kinda get it.

Suit yourselves guys!
