On Friday, news broke that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and his wife Melania had tested positive for coronavirus.
Donald Trump was later admitted to hospital following the diagnosis.
Confirming the news, the president himself tweeted about his diagnosis.
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 2, 2020
In the tweet he wrote:

Following the news countless people responded to the news wishing the president well wishes.
A whole new level of Sociopathy. https://t.co/BTUbsKhjVN— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) October 1, 2020
One person wrote:
Get well soon POTUS!
Hope you and Melania have a speedy recovery!
Just hours after news emerged of Trump’s diagnosis, news reports came out claiming the president was ‘fatigued’.
As speculation continues to rise about the president’s condition, the White House released a series of photos claiming to show Trump busy at work.
But eagle eyed journalists and Twitter users noticed that the photos actually show Trump merely signing his own name on a blank piece of paper.
Maybe the pics of President Trump working weren’t faked. In fairness, he seems like a guy who would spend his “working” time writing and admiring his own name on a blank sheet of paper. https://t.co/sbcJtsD3Mv— Jason Kander (@JasonKander) October 4, 2020
Another White House correspondent did some digging into the photos and realised they were taken just ten minutes apart – debunking the notion that they show the president working through the night.
