What sort of a world do we live in?
Do you remember when you were smaller? I remember almost every day of my life playing street football without a care in the world.
Sometimes you’d get in a bit of trouble, when you hit an insane volley directly at your neighbours car, but most the time it was trouble free.
Unfortunately in America things aren’t always that simple.
This is the story of how a group of black children who were playing street football, had the police called on them.
The kids were playing football on Saturday, June 20, in Ohio – but thankfully when the police turned up they didn’t make them disperse, instead they played with the kids for a little while.
One of the kids’ moms, Wendy Brown, caught the heartwarming moment on video.

Speaking about the incident, Wendy said:
We encourage them to go outside and just be kids, so they were just playing football out in the street like they do any other time. I don’t know the cop’s name, but he came to me and said, ‘I don’t know who would do it, but someone called police on the kids, they said they were playing in the street so we came by’.
The officer who spoke to the mum-of-four added that they used to play in the street as a child themselves, as Fox8 reports.
Wendy went onto explain that it was three different officers, the situation could’ve been handled way worse.
Thank goodness it wasn’t.
