Tattoos eh. Words or pictures, engraved on the skin. I remember reading about AC/DC a while back. And how they struggled to get any attention as a band because of their tattoos.
Oh how things have changed. Now tattoos are the norm. I don’t have any and I’m looked upon like an animal!
Though while it may seem like just about everyone has one or two, or a sleeve, or a Celtic Cross engulfing their entire back, there’s still one type of tattoo that causes a bit of controversy.
Yeah that’s right, the face tattoo.
The ultimate tattoo in my opinion. There’s no dilly dallying about here. There’s no, I can cover this with a shirt or long pants. This is as far as you can go. And of all the places to get a tattoo on the face, perhaps the forehead is the most extroverted of all.
And that’s just what none other than singer and model Amber Rose has done – and it has something to do with Kobe Bryant believe it or not.
After the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, Amber Rose apparently began to think about how short life is… So she got a forehead tattoo.
I gotta be honest. And I don’t want this to sounds corny or whatever. After Kobe died… it made me reflect on my life. And I don’t want people to be like: ‘Oh Kobe died and you went and got a tattoo.’ But it was kind of like that.
My dad had cancer when he was like 40. And he went through remission and he’s good, but he almost died and I’m 36 and I was like I’ve been wanting this tattoo for a long time. And I was like: ‘Life is so short,’ just do it. Just live your best life. It’s just like – with no regrets. That’s just how I felt and I’m happy I did it.
Check out the tatt below:
The tattoo reads Bash and Slash. They’re the names of her children. And let me stress this one final time. IT’S ON HER FOREHEAD.
