It would seem that not even six Super Bowl rings can get you out of trouble in Tampa Bay, with new Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady kicked out of a local park for exercising during lockdown.
The former New England Patriot, who signed for the Bucs last month, was caught trying to get some off-season prep done when he was caught by a patrolling member of the park staff, who asked him to leave as he was in violation of the city wide restrictions that are currently in place amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
Tampa mayor Jane Castor shared the news during a Facebook live meeting with St.Petersburg mayor Rick Krisemen.
“You know our parks are closed down and so a lot of our parks staff, they patrol around just to make sure people aren’t doing contact sports and things and saw an individual working out in one of our downtown parks.
“And, she went over to tell him that it was closed and it was Tom Brady.”
Despite breaking the current rules, Brady will not face a fine for his actions and it isn’t believed he had much issue with being asked to leave the park, either.
Surely though, Tom Brady has plenty of space wherever he’s currently living to not need a public park to complete his daily exercise routines?
