Mike Tyson is making a huge comeback to the ring, fighting former heavyweight champion Roy Jones Jr.

Iron Mike Tyson is set to fight Jones Jr. on September 12 in an 8-round exhibition being called Frontline Battle.

The 54-year-old’s return to his fitness peak has been well documented over the past few months, with numerous videos showing Tyson looking like an absolute animal on the heavy bag or sparring.

According to TMZ, the fight will take place in California and will be sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission. They’ve also reported that the fight will be available on Pay-per-view and on the social media platform, Triller.

Jones was in the ring just two years ago (whereas Tyson hasn’t fought for 15 years) and Jones believes that due to his constant training he can compete well with Tyson.

But fans are more intrigued to see how Tyson does… After stepping away from the ring, the boxer suffered from substance abuse, mental health problems, and weight issues. However now it finally looks like Tyson is back to his prime.

It’s going to make one helluva fight.

Get that into your diaries: September 12.
