Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Baby Announcement Is A Touching Gesture To Princess Diana

Baby Sussex is already one of the rising stars of 2019 and we are yet to see a picture of the new arrival!

It’s very clear that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are a modern couple who like to do things in their own way.

Princess Diana, known as the ‘People’s Princess’ left a lot of
likable qualities to Prince Harry. Even people with not much interest in the monarchy were touched by her kind heart and approach to life.

Prince Harry has a little bit of a rebellious streak just like his mother and Meghan seems to like to do thing’s a little differently to the ‘norm’.

The new parents’ happy statement:

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526hrs this morning. The baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. The Duke of Sussex was present for the birth.”

“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.”

“The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage. Her Royal Highness and the baby are both doing well.”

This may look like an expected and standard statement but it’s reported that Harry and Meghan have chosen to mention Princess Diana’s side of the family – Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer – recognizing them as important figures in the life of their newborn baby.

Back when Prince William and Kate Middleton’s babies were born, there was no mention at all of the Spencer side of the family.

Prince William has however previously spoken about how he keeps his mother’s memory alive for his children in other ways.

Harry and Meghan are very keen to pay tribute to Princess Diana’s siblings with this sweet statement.
