Reports are just coming in of a massive explosion in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
The facts are unclear at the time of writing, however countless videos show what appears to be two explosions by the port of the city, creating a huge mushroom cloud and devastating numerous buildings.
It remains unknown if the explosion was accidental or an attack. Some journalists are suggesting the explosion was caused by a missile, other reports in local media are claiming it was caused by a fire at a firework factory.
However nothing has been confirmed just yet.

The force of the blast was massive. There’s panic in the streets, glass everywhere.
Security sources are claiming that a number of people were injured and that there is widespread destruction across the city.
Many residents have tweeted saying their windows have been blown out and ceilings have collapsed.

As you can see, footage shows smoke continuing to billow into the sky as numerous cars and buildings are completely destroyed.
Other footage shows overturned cars on highways.
There are no immediate reports of any fatalities however Lebanon’s health minister has claimed there are numerous injuries.
