Kevin Hart Suffers Major Back Injury In Horror Car Crash

It’s been reported by the California Highway Patrol that Kevin Hart has been injured following a car accident in California.

Hart was riding as a passenger in his car, which was being driven by Jared S. Black when the accident happened and he has suffered a major back injury.

CHP reported that the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda crashed at 12.45am on Sunday in West Valley when Black turned from Cold Canyon Road onto Mulholland Highway.

The press release stated:

“Black immediately lost control of the vehicle and the Plymouth left the road and rolled over down the northern embankment.”

Black was ‘determined not to be under the influence of alcohol’.

Both were taken to nearby hospitals with ‘major back injuries’ and the other passenger, Rebecca Broxterman, suffered ‘only complaint of pain’.

The press release explained:

“Two of the three occupants were trapped in the vehicle. The remaining occupant and owner of the vehicle, Kevin Hart, left the scene to his nearby residence to get medical attention.

“The driver was located in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and determined not to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.

“Hart and Black sustained major back injuries as a result of this collision and were transported and treated at nearby hospitals (Northridge – Hart, UCLA Westwood – Black).”

Hart is a huge fan of cars and always posts about them across his social media platforms.

In July, Hart posted a photo of what is believed to be the car involved in the crash, which was his 40th birthday present.

The caption read:

“I added some more muscle to the family for my 40th… welcome home ‘Menace’.”

Hart also spent his money on some classic cars to thank his crew after he wrapped up his latest international tour back in December.

He wrote on Instagram:

“Just treated my guys to Old School cars. This tour has been amazing. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my team.”

He added:

“Yup… We are officially getting a old… Me and my guys started a car club. We are the ‘Plastic Cup Boyz Car Club’.

We are hoping Hart, Black and Broxterman fully recover.
