A tearful Kanye West launched his presidential campaign at an event in Charleston, South Carolina.
At the last minute rally, Kanye ranted against abortion and pornography, argued policy with attendees and at one point broke down in tears…
He also suggested that anybody with a child should be given one million dollars.

During another controversial part of his speech, Kanye claimed that Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves.
More specifically he said:
Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves. She just had the slaves work for other white people.
Kanye West is not well. I am not saying that in a shaming way. He has been very public about his bipolar and calls it his superpower. Fame is not a help. I can't help but believe that if he had stayed a pretty anonymous music producer he'd be in a better place. He needs support.— Matt Haig (@matthaig1) July 20, 2020
However the campaign did very little to clarify if Kanye is serious about running for president.
One thing that is certain, is that his campaign has seriously divided the world.

It's easier to dismiss him as 'crazy' than deal with the gravity of his words.

Many believe he is ‘insane’, others believe it is a distraction to pull votes away from Biden, and others again believe he is right.
