Heartbreaking news just in.
Oscar winning actor, Jeff Bridges, has revealed that he is battling cancer.
Bridges confirmed the news himself, in a tweet written in the style of his iconic cult character from The Big Lebowski, The Dude.
He also confirmed that it was a serious disease.

I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good.
I’m starting treatment and will keep you posted on my recovery.

Bridges is a true legend of cinema, starring in a plethora of huge films such as Crazy Heart, The Big Lebowski, True Grit, and Seabiscuit.
People online have been wishing Bridges good health with one writing: “I love you so much Jeff.”
