Italian Nurse ‘Takes Own Life’ After Testing Positive For Coronavirus

An Italian nurse has reportedly took her own life after testing positive for Coronavirus.

The pandemic has so far taken a reported 20,000+ lives and now it appears that it isn’t only the virus that is taking lives, but its effect on people’s mental health.

According to TMZ, 34-year-old Daniela Trezzi, had been treating patients at the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza in the region of Lombardy which has been hit incredibly hard.

She spent a couple of weeks at home, presumably in quarantine after being diagnosed with COVID-19, before she tragically died by suicide.

TMZ report that Trezzi was distraught with the belief she may have infected other patients with Coronavirus before being diagnosed herself.

Such a tragedy.

Rest in peace Daniela.
