An instagram model has been forced to fork out over $60,000 to repair a botched butt lift that cost her six months of being able to sit down.
Shilpa Sethi, a 25-year-old influencer from New Dehli, had been saving money for the $10,000 operation since she was 20. However, after traveling to Miami to undergo her Brazilian Butt Lift procedure, her dream turned into a nightmare.
Talking to the Daily Mail, Sethi revealed, “I chose my doctor based on what I later discovered to be fake reviews. That first surgery was botched, and I had complications immediately after the procedure.
“Mum said she didn’t want me to have it, but I had it anyway adding. I have always admired a curvy body and I was very flat at first.”
The op, which sees fat taken from the waist area and transferred to the buttocks, left Shilpa with a shortness of breath and a shooting pain down her leg. She later discovered that her buttocks were uneven and she was in severe discomfort, which left her unable to sit down properly.
The botched surgery led to Shilpa having to fly to Colombia twice in order to correct it. At a cost of over $60,000 Shilpa had loose skin reattached to muscle.
“The only reason I’m telling my story now is because I don’t want anybody else to go through what I’ve been through.”
Shilpa started an OnlyFans account to help cover her expenses, charging fans to see explicit content that they can’t see on her instagram feed.
The Indian influencer has also revealed that, following the ordeal, she’s going to treat herself to a boob job. Let’s hope that doesn’t end up being as hazardous.
