Terrence Floyd has visited the site where his brother was killed by Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin to deliver a powerful message of peace and love and calling for non-violent protests.
Using a bullhorn to deliver his speech, George’s brother addressed an enormous crowd that had gathered at the site.
Terrence channeled his grief into a message where he asked for an end to rioting and looting, which has become prevalent across America in the wake of George’s death.
Wearing a face mask emblazoned with the face of his late brother and the words “We Can’t Breathe” in reference to the words his brother repeated as Chauvin suffocated him with his knee for eight minutes, Terrence led the crowd in calling for all officers involved in George’s death to be arrested and charged.
Chauvin has been arrested already and charged with third degree murder and manslaughter. It has been reported that he is on suicide watch and has been moved to a maximum security prison.
