In news you probably weren’t expecting today, the FBI have raided the home of YouTuber Jake Paul.
The FBI seized a lot of stuff at the influencer’s Calabasas mansion – following news that the 23-year-old was charged with trespassing and unlawful assembly after being identified at Scottsdale Fashion Square mall in Arizona, where rioters had gathered and were looting shops.
An FBI spokesperson confirmed that an armed swat team raided the home when Paul wasn’t in there.

They didn’t, however, explain the reason for the raid – only that it was part of an ongoing investigation.
An FBI representative explained:
The FBI is executing a federal search warrant at a residence in Calabasas in connection with an ongoing investigation.
The affidavit in support of the search warrant has been sealed by a judge and I am, therefore, prohibited from commenting as to the nature of the investigation. No arrests are planned.

Paul also faced criticism last month for holding a large all-day party at the mansion which allegedly broke public health orders as party-goers did not wear face masks or practice social distancing.
