Spitting in anyone’s food or drink is repulsing regardless of what’s going on in the world, but during the time of a global pandemic it isn’t only sickening, it’s also ridiculously reckless and dangerous behaviour.
But one man, Dunkin Donuts employee Vincent Sessler, 25, was arrested in Chicago recently after a police officer ordered a cup of coffee from him.
The cop claims he took the lid off the coffee to cool it down and discovered a fresh coating of phlegm sitting on top of his Joe. Sick.
As if that didn’t make you feel nauseous already, the police gave an even more descriptive way of putting it, writing:
[The officer] observed a large, thick piece of mucus which was later confirmed to be saliva.
After an investigation was conducted, authorities in Chicago claim they arrested for disorderly conduct, reckless conduct and battery.
And the police are disgusted too, with the Illinois Police Director claiming that police officers do not deserve this level of disrespect.
They deserve better than this insulting and dangerous treatment. For their safety, ISP officers and employees will be prohibited from patronizing this location.
