This is the shocking moment a bride’s wedding photo-shoot was caught up in the Beirut explosion yesterday afternoon.
The professional footage shows the bride in all her glory, showing her dress and face, before total chaos ensues.
Take a look at the footage below. It’s a truly harrowing watch.
It hasn’t since been confirmed that at least 135 people have died and 5,000 more are injured as a result of the blast.
The death toll continues to rise following the catastrophic explosion in the capital’s port area.
President Michel Aoun said the blast was caused by 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate – used in fertilisers and as an explosive.
The ammonium nitrate was left in a warehouse for six years at the city’s port.
The president ordered those in charge of guarding the ammonium nitrate to be placed under house arrest, adding that those responsible will face the consequences.
Lebanon is currently in a state of emergency and powers have been handed over to the military as the explosion is investigated.
Many nations from across the globe have pledged their support to Lebanon, including the UK who have pledged an aid package to the nation of up to £5m.
The UK have also offered to send over dozens of experts to assist in the investigation.
Our thoughts continue to go out to all those affected by this horrific tragedy.
