Boyband aficionados, One Direction, won the hearts of teenage girls across the entire globe a few years back.
But tragedy struck when the band revealed that they were breaking up.
Now, light has cast down upon the broken and despaired Directioners – and hope has been driven back into their hearts.
How come? The One Direction Twitter page has officially just tweeted for the first time in not one, but two years…
But what did it say? Well… it was an announcement about a full ten years of One Direction.
The tweet simply read:
Tomorrow! You and me got a whole lot of history # 10YearsOf1D

And the last tweet was almost exactly two years ago, celebrating eight years of One Direction.
It’s safe to say people have lost their minds.
One fan replied to the tweet writing:
I WASNT PREPARED FOR THIS ALEXA PLAY HEART ATTACK BY ONE DIRECTION.

A third said: ‘Come back. I miss you.’
I guess they still are the biggest boy-band on the planet! But will anything come off the tweet? Probably not, but fans remain hopeful.
