Juice Wrld’s Cause Of Death Confirmed By Autopsy

Up and coming rapper, Juice Wrld, tragically passed away last year and now his cause of death has finally been confirmed.

The rapper, real name Jarad A. Higgins, died on December 8, 2019 at Chicago Airport.

According to BBC News, Juice WRLD suffered a seizure during a police search of his private jet when it landed in at Chicago and later died in hospital.

Police officers said they found guns and drugs on his jet after receiving information that banned substances might be on-board.

His biggest song was the viral 2018 hit Lucid Dreams. In most of his songs he talked about mental health, dying and drugs in his music.

Now, in the past few hours his cause of death has been revealed as an accidental drug overdose.

More specifically, The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said:

Higgins died as a result of oxycodone and codeine toxicity, the manner of death is accident.

The opioids have been linked to countless deaths in the US, including that of many musicians and artists in recent years.

Mac Miller’s death in 2018 involved cocaine and fentanyl, Prince’s death involved fentanyl, Lil Peep suffered an accidental overdose of fentanyl and Xanax.

And numerous rappers continue to write lyrics around opioids in many of their songs.

Rest in peace Juice Wrld.
