KFC’s First Plant-Based Fried ‘Chicken’ With Beyond Meat Has Launched!

Veganism is becoming a huge change for many people as it’s the most environmentally-conscious kind of diet to have.

Vegans, however, still want the taste of meat… just not the meat.

It’s disturbing what goes on in the meat industry and the dangers that consuming animals poses to our planet. This has lead to companies becoming more willing to cater to plant-based customers.

You probably never saw this coming, but fast food giant KFC have launched their vegan “chicken” and everyone is very intrigued!

Going vegan means you’re helping in cutting the consumption from the meat and dairy industry’s in a huge way which ultimately helps reduce a person’s carbon footprint.

Although for some, vegan can seem impossible.

Fast food normally becomes impossible to eat when vegan as the options are minimal.

Now companies are focused more than ever on creating meat alternatives.

The president of KFC’s U.S. business, Kevin Hochman said:

“If you would have asked me six months ago, I would have said no, to be completely honest with you,”

“Because we’re about fried chicken.”

For now the new plant based chicken is being tested out at one KFC location, in Atlanta, Georgia. Once they have customer feedback, they’ll launch it in more places!
