Popeyes have finally decided to join the rest of the fast food industry and have started to sell a sandwich. Hoorah!
This sandwich is the franchise’s first ever nationally available fried chicken burger and people are excited.

The mouthwatering sandwich is a buttermilk-battered chicken fillet, with a dollop of spicy Cajun sauce or possibly your usual mayonnaise with the flavour of two pickle chips, and a fluffy, sweet brioche bun. What’s even more exciting is the chain has never done this before!
This new exciting sandwich will be promoted alongside Southern-style Sweet Dixie Kitchen.
Owner Kim Sanchez said in a statement:
“To be honest, I thought they were calling to sue me. We have a long history with Popeyes, but we’ve always said Popeyes chicken is the best fried chicken we ever had. So, we are thrilled to collaborate with them to launch and serve their delicious Popeyes Chicken Sandwich.”

Unfortunately, this restaurant was responsible previously for a food drama story when the owners were caught trying to pass Popeyes’ chicken as their own back in 2017.
Bruno Cardinali, head of marketing in North America for Popeyes, said in a statement:
“We feel honored that the team at Sweet Dixie Kitchen likes our chicken so much. To acknowledge their admiration, we are granting them special access to pre-launch our new Chicken Sandwich for a few days before we launch it nationally.”
It’s great that Popeyes have now realised just how good fried chicken and bread is… you can get the new sandwich from August 12th, exciting!
