Pornhub Launches New Parody Site Because Of Coronavirus

Pornhub really have been going above and beyond for everyone during the current Coronavirus pandemic, giving away a month’s worth of their free premium membership to everyone around the globe who would want it (so all of us really, let’s face it) and now, they’ve gone even further.

The online sex behemoths (makes note: great band name) have launched parody site ‘Scrubhub‘, which includes nothing but videos of people washing their hands. Their dirty, filthy hands (sorry).

With hand washing one of the most important methods of combating the spread of Coronavirus, countless celebrities, athletes and politicians have shared public service announcements regarding hand hygiene over the last month or so as infection rates and death tolls skyrocketed worldwide.

The site has been put together in conjunction with Los Angeles based creatives Ani Acopian and Suzy Shinn with the aim of helping to raise money for Invisible Hands, a charity that delivers food to vulnerable people, and Frontline Foods, who supply meals for those people working on the frontline during the pandemic.

A statement on the site reads, “We made Scrubhub to make people laugh in hopes of raising money for non-profit organisations that are helping people affected by Covid-19. We chose to highlight the seemingly mundane, yet crucial act of hand washing in the only way we know how to – by giving everyone something that no one asked for.

“This website is absolutely the product of what happens when we have too much time on our hands while staying home.”
