Ted Bundy’s Longtime Girlfriend Finally Speaks Out In New Documentary Series

Ted Bundy was one of America’s worst serial killers. He kidnapped, raped, and murdered numerous young women and girls during the 1970s and after years of denial, he finally confessed to thirty homicides before his execution in 1989.

There are still so many unanswered questions about the killer, but the 2 people who were the closest to him have finally spoken out in a new documentary series that is due to be released next year.

Ted Bundy: Falling For A Killer is expected to drop next year on Amazon Prime, and it will feature exclusive interviews with Bundy’s long-term girlfriend Elizabeth Kendall and her daughter Molly – their daughter.

Amazon Prime released a statement, explaining what the show will focus on: “Bundy’s crimes from a female perspective – uncovering the disturbing and profound way in which Bundy’s pathological hatred of women collided with the culture wars and feminist movement of the 1970s, culminating in what is perhaps the most infamous true-crime saga of our time.”

Bundy has already been a big hit for documentaries since his death by electric chair in 1989.

His crimes have fascinated psychologists and extensive research into his past has created a worldwide obsession with the killer, especially since the release of Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile – a Sky exclusive movie about Bundy starring Zac Efron.

Earlier this year, Netflix also released a docu-series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes that gave viewers an exclusive insight into the real recordings from interviews with the killer whilst he was on death row.

Both the movie and the docu-series were chilling representations of Bundy, and they each gave an idea of what exactly was going on in the mind of a psychopath.

But this new series is rumored to be completely groundbreaking because it will be heard from the people closest to the killer what it was exactly like to be around him on a daily basis.

It will feature never before seen photos of Bundy appearing as a normal person doing normal things like riding a horse, and it will also feature stories from some of the survivors of his attacks.

Directed by journalist Trish Wood, the Amazon Prime series will coincide with Kendall’s updated and expanded 1981 memoir, The Phantom Prince: My Life With Ted Bundy.

There isn’t an official release date for the series, but it is more than likely going to be in 2020.
