Miss Universe Australia Cruelly Trolled Over ‘Embarrassing’ Bikini Pic

Back in 2017, Olivia Molly Rogers won Miss Universe Australia – one of the most prestigious titles in the world of modelling.

However now she is being mocked online by trolls after posting what they are calling an ’embarrassing’ picture.

The photo in question shows Olivia wearing a bikini while on holiday, and to most it’s just your standard Instagram snap of a girl in great shape enjoying herself.

But the world is a cruel place, and the Internet is even crueler, and that’s exactly what Olivia had to go through just days ago when they decided to pick on her.

She shared the distressing messages online, refusing to let the bullies win by outing them on Instagram.

One of her 139,000 followers privately sent her a hateful comment saying that she was ‘too fat’ to be on the platform and should ‘take the image down because it’s embarrassing’.

She said that she ‘didn’t know quite what to say’.

She then explained:

They [trolls] are a big part of the reason I had an eating disorder for six years. I am a size eight which is usually irrelevant to the conversation but if I am being called fat imagine your size 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 woman and the comments they receive.

It is absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. Right now I don’t even have the right words to describe how I feel.

And people immediately jumped to Olivia’s defence, claiming the messages said a lot more about the user rather Olivia herself.

When will people realize that their words do hurt.
