DJ Had Incredible Transformation After Losing 105lbs

A DJ has had the ultimate body transformation after dropping a huge 105lbs. The weight loss has since given her the confidence to perform in front of people again and she’s even gone on to win model of the year at the UK Glamour Awards ceremony.

Bonnie Stainer, 35, weighed 231lbs (16.5 stone) at her biggest just four years ago and would eat whatever she wanted..

The mum-of-two decided she had enough and turned her entire life around. She ate better and exercised more, no quick fixes or fad diets, she just changed her lifestyle.

Now the mother has two young girls to look after, a DJ career and now a modelling career. She began by exercising six times a week to lose the weight to make her feel more confident.

She went from a 56in waist to 26in which is an incredible 30 inches difference and her weight went down to 8.5 stone. Since then she’s started using weights and now weighs 126 lbs (9stone).

After recently winning a Modelling competition, she said that she was planning a Burger King for the first time in six months, followed by an ice-cream to celebrate.

She said:

“I hadn’t been overweight until I fell pregnant with my first child. I just ate literally whatever I was not meant to, which I enjoyed at the time, but I piled on the pounds. The last time I weighed myself I was 16.5st.

“After I gave birth I tried to lose the weight and feel like me again, but within six months I was pregnant with my second daughter and it happened all over again.

“I have been a DJ for a few years but lost all my confidence and was so close to jacking it in and working in supermarket.”

Bonnie said that there are no shortcuts to get in to shape, saying it’s all about the hard work and staying consistent.

She said: “The key is being in the right frame of mind, along with routine, exercise, eating well and drinking water.

“I work out six days a week and try to rest one day a week but I’m still active running around after the kids. Sometimes I get up at 6am and do 30 minutes on the cross trainer wearing 27 kilos of weights.

“People think that sounds a lot but I was carrying a lot more than that when I was overweight.

“Sometimes I do look at my cross trainer and think I can’t be bothered, then all I do is just think about what I’m trying to achieve and after I’ve done it I feel so much better.”

Amazingly, since dropping the pounds her Instagram followers have gone up to more than 20,000 in just over two years.

She added:

“It’s crazy”

“I’ve now gone 360 degrees and am loving DJing again. My family and friends are just so pleased to see me back where I belong and doing so well.

“People may assume I’m big headed because of my success recently, but I’m the most down to earth person and no one is more shocked than me how well things are going.”
