Jennifer Aniston Reveals She Is All For Doing A Friends Reunion!

15 years flies by doesn’t it? Well thats how long it’s been since fans said goodbye to the cast of Friends. Fans are clearly not over it and still crave the programme, either watching the box set or streaming it anyway they can.

The final episode aired in May 2004, and since then every year people have been waiting for a ‘reunion’ announcement. At least one of the stars has been asked about the possibility of them reprising their roles for another series.

Sadly, this hasn’t happened yet and people are keen to know if it ever will!

In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer Aniston aka Rachel Green gave fans fresh hope that a reunion could be on the horizon, so of course, people went crazy!

Jennifer said:

“Okay, why not? ‘You know what, because listen, I told you this. I would do it. The girls would do it. And the boys would do it, I’m sure.

“Listen. Anything could happen.”

Lisa Kudrow who played Phoebe Buffay said early this year that she had been speaking to Courteney Cox aka Monica Geller about doing something around the show for a 25th-anniversary special.

She revealed:

“Courteney and I were talking about that, we should all get together.

“Courteney and Jennifer are good planners. I’m that annoying person that’s like, “Hey, do either one of you want to put that together?” My role is like, here’s an idea and have someone do it.”

She added:

“We were all really grateful that we had each other, the other five of us, to keep us in check and check in with. Like, this is weird right? Did that happen to you?”

The shows creator, Marta Kauffman, unfortunately said previously that she doesn’t think there will ever be a reboot of the series. Stating that a reunion would just ‘disappoint’ fans. Not sure we agree with this..

She explained:

“One, the show is about a time in your life when your friends are your family. It’s not that time anymore.

“All we’d be doing is putting those six actors back together, but the heart of the show would be gone.”
