Jamie Foxx has already revealed he’s got Mike Tyson’s voice down to a tee, now he’s got the massive body too.
Foxx is set to play Iron Mike in an upcoming biopic where he’ll play both young Mike and older Mike.
He’s been working on the project for years but finally it seems to be moving forward pretty quickly.
During a recent episode of ‘Catching Up with Mark Birnbaum’, Jamie revealed how he’s transforming his body to look just like Tyson – and he’s the absolute spitting image.
But just how’s he doing it? Well for the top half of his body, Foxx has been doing 60 pull ups, 60 dips, and 100 push ups daily.
As for the bottom half, Foxx admits they’re going to need prosthetics as he doesn’t have the bulk legs Tyson was famous, or infamous, for.

The transformation begins… “FINDING MIKE”. It is no secret that I have been pursuing the @miketyson biopic for some time… people always ask me when is it going to happen?… things have finally lined up… A few months ago we started the journey… The first but biggest task is to transform the body… with a regiment of pull-ups dips and push-ups we are off to a pretty good start… we have a ways to go but God willing… yesterday on my good friends @markbirnbaum show. I shared these early pics of the process… like I said we have a ways to go… But I am prepared to get there! #swipeleft TYSON!
He added that he’ll be 216 pounds when shooting begins, and then to play Old Mike, he’ll ‘balloon to 225, 230 which will look like 250 on screen’.
Sounds like a truly exciting project!
