Yes, it’s true… we’ve discovered the best cameo of the year and although the end of the year is fast approaching… it’s definitely been worth the wait.
IT Chapter Two has been on cinema screens for just two days so far and it’s clear that horror fans across the world are loving a particular cameo they discovered.
Chapter 2 is set in 2016 and is 27 years after the events of the first film.
We see the return of Bill Skarsgård as the horrifying clown Pennywise.
The official synopsis reads:
“Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, ‘IT CHAPTER TWO’ brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.”
The actors in the latest film include James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough; Jessica Chastain as Beverly; and Bill Hader as Richie.
What a cast!
Stephen King is the huge cameo everyone is raving about, the King of Horror and the author of the novel. How cool!
King secured cameos in Pet Sematary, Thinner, and Under the Dome previously so he’s not camera shy!
When a grown up Bill (James McAvoy) visits Derry’s local pawn shop the shop’s owner is played by the one and only Stephen King.
Instead of selling Bill his bike back and moving on it’s at this point the movie, and King’s character, pokes fun at the horror writer.
With the films running joke of Bill being an amazing, successful writer, he can’t seem to write a good ending… and King’s pawn shop owner declines Bill’s offer to sign one of his novels in the store, saying he didn’t like the ending.
IT Chapter Two is now available to watch in cinemas.
