Dead to Me Season 2 Will Have ‘More Secrets and More Twists’ Than Before

Earlier this year, Dead to Me was released on Netflix, and we were instantly hooked.

Produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, the show follows the unlikely friendship that blossoms between Jen, a tightly wound widow, and Judy, a free spirit who was the one to accidentally kill Jen’s husband. It’s a mess, I know.

Anyway, the show was darkly comical, and audiences loved the stark differences in personalities of the two female leads.

The show was also full of shocking plot twists and surprises, so when we found out that a second season was definitely in the works, we couldn’t have been more excited.

And, during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Linda Cardellini, who plays Judy in the show, said that season 2 will continue with the themes of mystery and intrigue.

“There are definitely going to be more secrets and more twists and turns, so we can count on that — I knew there was a twist in the first episode when I read the first season, but I didn’t realize how each episode would be, that the show would turn and twist as the season went on,” she explained.

And her co-star, Christina Applegate, who plays the hot-headed Jen, also confirmed these speculations, having previously said,

“Holy crap! Liz ( Feldman – showrunner) went over what the season is going to look like. Oh hell. She said it’s going much harder work for me this season.”

We can’t wait!
