How has it been 15 years since White Chicks came out?
Well, if you loved the first movie, it is a bit late but a sequel is on the way.
The first film was based on two disgraced FBI agents who go undercover as ‘white chicks’ in a bid to protect a hotel heiress from a kidnapping plot.
Recently Terry Crews appeared on TV and was asked whether there would be a follow up to the film.
“I actually got with Shawn and he was like ‘Man we doing it, we’re getting it going’, 15 years ago as of this month! I’m staying in shape just for this movie.”
Terry was also asked what song he’d belt out for the White Chicks sequel.
“I think the modern day of [‘A Thousand Miles’] would be Carly Rae Jepsen ‘Call Me Maybe’.”
We have to agree, that would be the perfect song.
“I don’t know the lyrics but I would definitely do the whitest white girl song you would ever see. But white girls are singing gangster right now, you know what I mean? So, it might be a little different, it might have a little rap thing in there. However we would do it, it’d be great.”
Previously asked about a sequel, Terry said:
“I would love one. I’m staying in shape for White Chicks 2. I will never get out of shape – you know that, right? I will be 75 and say, ‘Here we go, I’m ready to go!’ I will never, ever get out of shape because that movie’s going to happen one day.”
Terry’s co-star Marlon Wayans said:
“Is White Chicks 2 happening anytime soon? I don’t know, but there’s been some rumblings happening, and a lot of people want us to do it, so me and my brothers have been talking. So, if things go right, we hope to do a White Chicks 2.”
