Kylie Jenner Donates $1 Million To Help Fight Coronavirus

In an effort to help flatten the curve of the Coronavirus pandemic, Kylie Jenner has donated a portion of her vast fortune to help bring the virus under control.

The 22-year-old billionaire will pledge $1 million to buy hundreds of thousands of face masks and various other forms of protective equipment for healthcare workers on the frontline of the pandemic.

Dr. Thais Aliabadi, who delivered Jenner’s daughter Stormi, said of the donation, “I am speechless, my eyes are filled with tears of joy and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. I made a wish to the Universe to gather protective masks for our brave healthcare workers and today my dream came true.

“I have never felt more blessed to be a doctor, as helping our brave ER and ICU workers feels just as gratifying as helping my own patients. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU Kylie Jenner. You are my hero. This generous donation will help save many precious lives. Our world is a better place with you in it. I love you so much.”

Several celebrities have generated headlines for their COVID-19 tackling generosity recently, with Roger and Miroslava Federer donating one million Swiss francs to help those affected in Switzerland, while Arnold Schwarzenegger also donated $1 million to help stop the spread. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia couple Rob McIlhenny and Kaitlin Olson helped raise over $100,000 to feed the hungry in Philadelphia who have been affected by the deadly virus over the last few months.

Here’s hoping more famous faces are willing to follow suit, as cases continue to spike across the world, with healthcare systems struggling to treat all infected patients.
