Kevin Hart has spoken out about his horrific car crash.
The 40-year-old comedian posted a video on Instagram thanking fans for their love and support during his recovery.
In the clip, Hart is also seen undergoing physical therapy with the help of his wife and children.
Speaking about how the devastating effect the incident had on him, Hart says: “After my accident I see things differently, I see life from a whole new perspective.
“My appreciation for life is through the roof. I’m thankful for my family, my friends.”
Hart added: “Don’t take today for granted, because tomorrow’s not promised. More importantly, I’m thankful for God, I’m thankful for life. I’m thankful for simply still being here.”
Commenting on the post, his wife, Eniko, thanked fans for their kind words and support, putting: “Your true fans were concerned, praying & missing you deeply. Thank you ALL for your kind words and allowing us to heal during this time.”
Hart’s co-star and pal Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson sent his best, commenting: “Beautifully said. Love u brotha. Onward.”
The press release at the time of the crash explained: “Two of the three occupants were trapped in the vehicle. The remaining occupant and owner of the vehicle, Kevin Hart, left the scene to his nearby residence to get medical attention.
“The driver was located in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and determined not to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
“Hart and Black sustained major back injuries as a result of this collision and were transported and treated at nearby hospitals (Northridge – Hart, UCLA Westwood – Black).”
