How would you react if you met Jennifer Aniston? Rachel freakin’ Green! We’d probably react in the exact way Charlie Puth recently did.
The singer, for those not in the know, is a major Jen An fan and all-around Friends fanatic.
Earlier this week, he got to meet his idol thanks to an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Prior to performing his new single “Mother,” Puth admitted he was “shaking from excitement” from being just on the same set as Aniston. Of course Ellen then brought her out to surprise him.
Greeting her with the biggest of hugs Puth said “I’m dying right now. Are you gonna stay? You can stay.” He later added, “You smell so good.” I bet she does!
When asked about a Friends reunion, she told Puth: “Listen, we would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying really, we’re working on something. No, we don’t know. I don’t want to lead people on.”
Last week, she broke the internet by joining Instagram and making as her first post, a selfie with all her co-stars enjoying each other’s company at Courtney Cox’s house.
For now, the only reunion is Aniston starring alongside Reese Witherspoon, who played her sister Jill on Friends.
“When I first saw Reese I was struck by how little she was! Like a little cherub and she was holding a little baby. So, I was like, ‘There’s a baby with a baby! I was obsessed with them!'” Jennifer Aniston says of her first memories of a then-24-year-old Witherspoon.
“I remember being amazed by Reese and all she was taking on at that time as well as being such a kick-a** young actress. It was just fun. I’d love to go back,” she smiles.
