Did you know.. if you have a brush, turtles are going to love you.
Thanks to this one visitor at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, it discovered how much turtles love to have a scrub, so much so that one lead to all of them wanting a go.
Nur Hafiza Ariffin crouched down on the banks of a pond in the park, to watch a lady with a brush tend to dozens of turtles. They were loving it.
Ariffin explains how many turtles were eagerly emerging from the water lining up to have a go with the mysterious brush in the womans hands.
Check out the video below:
Ariffin thinks the woman bought the brush along to help get rid of the algae on their shells, and they couldn’t get enough of it.
Arrifin said:
“Spreading kindness in every way possible,”
“[The turtles] happily came towards her to get their backs cleaned, and once it was done they cutely walked off.”
She added:
“Such a heartwarming sight”
Who doesn’t like a well needed scrub?
Apparently, whether they need it or not, turtles enjoy the feeling of bristles on their shells. And it’s a great way to pet them.
