Kittens Roam Freely In This Bookstore And Customers Can Adopt Them

I think if I won the lottery I’d buy a bookshop. Buy it, not rent. I’d stock it full of books and just sit around all day. If nobody comes in, who cares.

I considered buying a bar but then you’ve got to deal with drunks which I don’t think I could do particularly successfully. So yeah, the book shop sounds best.

Talking of bookshops, take a look at this ideal little shop down in Canada (of course it is, this is too wholesome to be anywhere else).

Otis & Clementine’s Books & Coffee is home to a number of furry felines, all of who are looking for their forever homes.

Can you imagine anything better than curling up in a cosy environment with your favourite novel while gazillions cats surround you!

The kittens are provided by the South Paw Conservation Nova Scotia rescue group.

The bookstores hope is that customers will fall in love with the little felines and be unable to resist taking them home. The system also allows the cats socialise and get used to being around humans.

The owner of the store, Ellen Helmke, set up the adoption program last year when she realised how much spare space she had.

More than 30 cats have been adopted since they started the program.

Keep up the good work Ellen!
