Husky Was So Malnourished She Looked Like A Skeleton, 10 Months Later She’s Unrecognizable!

Bali is a truly beautiful place and anyone who’s every visited will know that, but unfortunately, they do have a stray dog issue and it is very common to encounter street dogs while walking around towns and villages.

Although the government struggle to keep things under control and prevent rabies outbreaks, shelters and people take matters in their own hands to give the lost dogs the best life they can possibly get.

Bali is known for it’s Hindu faith, a figure in Hindu belief is Yudhishthira, a king who had approached heaven with his dog.

The belief means that many Hindus are caring for dogs so they can also pave way to heaven.

This belief was acted out in this incredible story of a husky that was found on the street extremely malnourished, by a lovely man called Rico Soegiarto.

When Rico first discovered the puppy on the streets of Denpasar, she was shockingly so thin you could see her bones through her diseased skin.

The puppy didn’t have long left to live. Her brilliant blue eyes still shone bright even though she was losing her battle and Rico knew that he had to give the neglected pup a second chance.

Rico said:

“I don’t know what was special about her,”

“Its about heart and feeling. I found her when I was on the way back home from work, she was in the middle of the street.”

Rico shared the results of his beloved new pet’s transformation after carefully nursing the husky back to health, with pet visits, grooming and plenty of good food.

Now the adorable pup is healthy, has an incredible thick coat and those same blue eyes.

Rico explained:

“She loves getting petted and eats plenty of cookies!”

“And she is so sociable that she worries me sometimes. There are many thieves in Bali.”

Rico, has 4 other dogs and is a dedicated animal lover.

Rico explained:

“Her name is Hope.”

Peoples reactions to the transformation:

Hope is now part of a happy family with Rico, his girlfriend and 4 other pups!
