Abandoned ‘Unicorn’ Puppy With Tail Growing From Its Head Is Rescued

Look at this little puppy. He’s gone viral ever since a dog rescue centre shared his photos on Facebook.

You might have noticed something strange, something a little off about the little pooch. They seem to have some kind of tail growing from their head.

Mac’s Mission, based in Missouri, who have since named him “Narwhal the Little Magical Furry Unicorn”, is now requesting donations for the pup.

They wrote on Facebook: “NEW RESCUE!!! This puppy was just found along with another older dog. This puppy has a TAIL COMING OUT OF HIS FOREHEAD and a foot injury of some sort. We are thankful this baby and his buddy are safe from the freezing cold. We definitely specialize in special.”

It’s me Narwhal!! I don’t understand what viral is but my foster mama said my story being viral helps ALL our special…

People began sharing their own speculations regarding how this pup got his unicorn tail.

“It was going to be a twin,” one person wrote. “You know how cells develop from the ass first? so when the cells split, this dog continued developing from the butt all the way to the nose, the other cell was like ‘f this s**t, I ain’t ready’ and stopped developing. so the ass part just stayed there while the other cell developed. so basically this dog has its siblings butt on its forehead.”

“Nice try FBI,” another said. “We all know this is one of the aliens that escaped the Area 51.”

Someone is not super thrilled about the vet. I tried telling Narwhal it wasn’t scary to get xrays. Love,MacaroniBigBro

“Please do not remove the ‘tail’ in front if it doesn’t cause any harm,” added a third. “The boy is special in his own ways~ giving him much love!”

Some were simply there to compliment the pup, with one writing: “When I see a dog with a little extra something special like Narwhal. I think of how much of an ambassador he is to showing humanity that we shouldn’t judge others for being uniquely different.”

This has absolutely made our day.
